South Sudan continues to face a severe humanitarian crisis fueled by ongoing conflict, intercommunal violence, and climate shocks. Since the outbreak of conflict in 2013 and 2016, millions have been displaced, with limited access to essential health services. The situation is further exacerbated by a deepening economic crisis, making it increasingly difficult to meet the growing humanitarian needs. As violence spreads across the country, vulnerable populations, particularly women and girls, face heightened risks, including gender-based violence and limited access to maternal, sexual and reproductive health. Urgent support is needed to address these critical challenges and provide lifesaving assistance.
